As illustrated in the Figure, the speed trends over time are similar across all areas. Notably, there are significant differences in lane changing rates among different areas. For special areas, the Pearson correlation coefficients of speed and lane changing rate in lane restriction and merging areas are 0.319 and 0.426, respectively. For general areas, the Pearson correlation coefficients for upstream and downstream are -0.625 and -0.727, respectively.
