New online edition of PCI Textbook to be released at EuroPCR in Paris on 21-24 May 2019. The second edition of the PCI Textbook is updated with 19 new chapters - nearly double the original content for a total of 43 chapters covering illustrative clinical cases and investigations. It includes fully-illustrated, step-by-step descriptions of diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and new developments written by a team of expert operators.

The best-selling PCI Textbook Tips and Tricks of New Techniques Beyond Stenting edited by Manel Sabate (Institut Clinic Cardiovascular - Barcelona, Spain) and Salvatore Brugaletta (Hospital Clinic - Barcelona, Spain) provides readers with a resource that is both clinically and practically oriented, covering interventional techniques of special interest to the interventionalist, and focusing on common problems and dilemmas of the cathlab operator. The primary goal of the text is to describe those tips and tricks that come from a seasoned operators experience that is not available in the average textbook. Using their point-of-view to illuminate the learning process of these new technologies which go beyond stenting, experienced experts present information in a way that is clear, precise and relevant.

With advancements in the field of structural heart disease treatment since the first edition of the book in 2010, the new edition incorporates all new developments currently approved and available in the market. The content of each chapter includes an introduction to a device or anatomical problem, a step-by-step, fully illustrated description of the procedure followed by a description of potential risks and complications as well as methods of prevention or treatment. Clinical illustrative cases are included in the textbook to enrich the content of the work. The editors recognise the importance of making this work interactive by encouraging partners and colleagues to consider sharing their own unique or challenging cases online.
