Christine Nattrass (front, lime green sweater), a physics professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, started the PHENIX HEPData project by offering opportunities for undergraduate students to earn credit and eventually pay. Christal Martin, Nikolas Nelson, and Tom Krobatch are some of the students who participated. Martin and Nelson are now graduate students and Krobatch parlayed his experience into a job.
