PolyU researchers invent non-invasive diagnostic device Smart-CKD for advancing clinical management of chronic kidney disease (IMAGE)
Caption
Calibration curves for the S-CKD tool were determined in the training cohort (A) and the validation cohort (B). Calibration curves depict the calibration of the established S-CKD in terms of the agreement between the predicted risks of moderate-severe renal fibrosis and the observed accurate outcomes. The y-axis displays actual moderate-severe fibrosis diagnoses, and the x-axis shows the predicted moderate-severe fibrosis risk. The diagonal dotted line represents a precise prediction by an ideal model. The solid line represents S-CKD's performance; a closer fit to the diagonal dotted line represents a better prediction.
