Griffiths Atungulu, associate professor and agricultural engineer for grain processing and post-harvest system engineer for the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, is the co-principal investigator of a new study supported by USDA-NIFA to investigate microwave technology as a broad-spectrum, non-chemical treatment to control weeds in row crop agriculture.
