Evaluation of data at the Chair of Proteomics and Bioanalytics (IMAGE)
Caption
At the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Bernhard Küster, Professor of Proteomics and Bioanalytics, and his team are investigating how therapeutic drugs work, which molecular mechanisms play a role in cancer, and how these can be used for individualized approaches in clinical treatment. For this purpose, they work, among other things, with a mass spectrometer. Mass spectrometers generate data at high speed, which is automatically evaluated by computers. Individual results are randomly checked for quality and significance.
