Multiple Splicing Forms of the TP63 Gene (IMAGE)
Caption
The TP63 gene, an important member of the TP53 family, contains two independent promoters that drive the transcription of TAp63 and ΔNp63, respectively. Through alternative splicing, TAp63 and ΔNp63 are further processed into multiple transcripts, including α, β, and γ isoforms. Additionally, different exons of the TP63 gene undergo back-splicing to generate two circular RNAs: circTP63-N (derived from exons 2–4, 517 nt) and circTP63 (derived from exons 11–12, 295 nt).
