Mammography/MRI/PACT imaging of invasive ductal carcinoma (IMAGE)
Caption
Images of the same breast in two patients with invasive ductal carcinoma, shown from mammography (left), contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI, middle), and non-invasive photoacoustic computed tomography (PACT, right). PACT is less affected by breast density than mammography and reveals more feeding vessels than MRI, as indicated by dashed arrows.
