Salmon farming has its woes

A study by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology  points out that there are no resources to check the figures reported by the Norwegain aquaculture industry itself for salmon lice, the number of salmon in cages, and escapes. It is claimed that the number of escaped salmon may be far higher than what is reported, as previously calculated by the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research (2014).
