Map showing regions where Young has been working with NSF COLDEX. This work took place at the US South Pole Station in East Antarctica, surveying toward Dome A. NSF COLDEX ice core work has been happening at Allan Hills. Future plans include airborne surveys at Allan Hills, linking up to sites at Dome C where Europe has been drilling for old ice, which were initially surveyed by UTIG scientists.
