The previously mentioned adherence of cross-sections to the 1/v law implies that a linear relationship exists among one-group cross-sections. Moreover, the closer the cross-sections follow the 1/v law, the stronger this linear relationship becomes. For instance, Li-6 conforms well to the 1/v law across the entire energy range, resulting in a fairly good linear relationship. In comparison, the deviation is more pronounced for U-238.
