Figure | Design of light cages for enhanced light-matter interaction. Artistic representation of several hollow-core light cages guiding light through their cores, all immersed in a cesium atmosphere. The unique side-wise access to their core region allows for rapid diffusion of cesium atoms while providing excellent optical field confinement.
