Figure | Integration of a light cage chip in a cesium vapor cell. (a) Light cage chip sealed inside its cesium vapor cell. Eight light cages with various geometries were printed on the chip. Protective coating on the chip ensures long-term survivability in the reactive cesium atmosphere. (b) Visible light is coupled into one of the light cages from outside the vapor cell. High intensity scattering is observed due to the light being off-resonant to the guiding frequency of the light cage.
