ROC curve comparison of VR-specific mortality prediction models in ARDSnet training cohort (IMAGE)
Caption
Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves comparing the performance of ventilatory ratio (VR)–specific 30-day mortality prediction models in the ARDSnet training cohort.
(A) High VR (VR ≥2) training cohort: the high VR model demonstrated superior discrimination compared with the low VR model (AUC 0.76 vs. 0.73; DeLong test, P = 0.001).
(B) Low VR (VR <2) training cohort: the low VR model outperformed the high VR model (AUC 0.76 vs. 0.74; DeLong test, P = 0.024).
Diagonal lines represent no-discrimination reference.
