Wallace's Flying Frog (IMAGE)
Caption
Photographed near Malaysia’s capital, several Wallace's Flying Frogs (Rhacophorus nigropalmatus) had descended from the rainforest canopy to breed in a temporary rain-filled puddle. Named after biologist Alfred Russel Wallace, this frog is well-adapted to life in the forest canopy, using webbed feet to glide between trees.
