Two Types of Bubble Bots Target a Tumor in Different Ways

The scientists created two different types of bubble bots. Those illustrated at the top of this image are modified with magnetic nanoparticles and directed toward a tumor target with external magnets. The bots illustrated at the bottom have different enzymes bonded to the surface and follow a chemical gradient to locate the tumor target independently.
