Comparison of computational efficiency of DAYU3D with TINTE and MGT-3D (IMAGE)

Compared with mainstream codes TINTE and MGT-3D, the DAYU3D program reduces computation time by about 60% or more for typical HTGR operating conditions. This improvement is primarily attributed to advanced algorithms, including an efficient flow-field matrix solver and a global calculation method for multi-batch fuel temperature, as well as extensive optimization of the code structure.
