Gaia20ehk star location (IMAGE)
Caption
Star Gaia20ehk — seen here in the center of the orange crosshairs in the inset image — is roughly 11,000 light-years from Earth, near the constellation Pupis. Astronomers at the University of Washington conclude that observed flickering from the star is likely caused by a collision between two orbiting planets.
