Generation 100 is a training study conducted by CERG that followed more than 1,500 women and men in their 70s over a five-year period. The study had three groups: one in which participants trained at high intensity, one at moderate intensity, and a control group that followed the health authorities’ recommendations for physical activity. Both physical and mental quality of life were better in the high-intensity group after five years compared to the other two groups.
