Figure 2: Dynamic bandgap modulation from UV to visible blue light. As tensile strain increases during the loading-unloading process, the optical emission of the GaN microbridge continuously shifts from the invisible ultraviolet (UV) to the visible blue light regime, showing the promising deep strain engineering.
