Chemokine-receptor networks driving tumor immune escape (IMAGE)
Caption
Chemokines and their receptors regulate immune cell movement within the tumor microenvironment. Immunosuppressive receptors such as CCR4, CCR5, CCR8, CXCR2, and CXCR4 promote the recruitment of suppressive immune cells, while impaired CXCR3 and CXCR6 signaling weakens effector T-cell responses. Targeting these pathways through receptor blockade and combination therapies may help reprogram the tumor microenvironment and enhance anti-tumor immunity.
