Figure 2. Performance comparison of the AI-predicted “best-of-the-best” catalyst (IMAGE)
Caption
Using the machine learning model, the researchers identified a multimetallic single-atom catalyst in which W, Mo, Ru, and Rh single atoms were anchored on the surface of Ca0.8Pr0.2Co0.8Fe0.2O3−δ at 0.2, 0.1, 0.1, and 0.1 wt%, respectively. This catalyst showed a lower overpotential than previously studied perovskite oxide catalysts, a higher turnover frequency than carbon-supported single-atom catalysts, and the best performance among the single-atom catalysts on perovskite oxides synthesized in this study. A lower overpotential and a higher turnover frequency indicate superior catalytic activity.
