Led by Prof. Yan Jinyue Jerry, Chair Professor of Energy and Buildings (2nd from right), and Dr Liu Junwei, Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering (1st from right), the research team developed the MRLR film, which can regulate indoor light, heat and humidity simultaneously, thereby reducing buildings’ reliance on cooling systems and contributing to the development of sustainable green buildings.
