Researchers have concentrated particles the size of salmon lice from hundreds of seawater samples. In total, they have collected and filtered several thousand cubic metres of seawater from fish farms and marine areas near Ålesund.The goal is to teach the system to detect the difference between salmon lice larva and everything else. The image on the screen is a clip from a video of plankton including a lice larva, which is recognized by the system.
