ENG: Keratin reorganization and nuclear escape during cell stretching
Video showing the model being gradually stretched at a constant strain rate. As the strain was increased, keratin reorganized into a star-like bundle structure, and keratin fibres apically covering the nucleus were progressively lost. This was followed by a rapid escape of the nucleus from the keratin cage as the perinuclear network slid basally to form the central knot.
