KAIST Shapes a " Templates a ‘Gas Lattice’ in Porous Materials”: The Moment Gas Forms a Crystal-like Lattice (IMAGE)
Caption
Figure. 2 Structural and thermodynamic analysis of xenon gas lattice formation in Co-CAU-36. Comparison of xenon adsorption configurations with a reference BCC lattice template, together with time-averaged density maps, adsorption isotherms, and energy-grid analysis, shows that xenon in Co-CAU-36 undergoes sequential shell occupancy, pore filling, and gas lattice formation, ultimately stabilizing a BCC-like xenon lattice.
