PASR処理前の解像度は5 Å※5程度で、キャプシドを構成するタンパク質アミノ酸の詳細な構造を視覚化することは困難である。PASR処理後の解像度は約3.5 Åで、その詳細な配置が識別可能になる。スケールバーは5 nm。マップは図右下に示した解像度に応じて部分的に色分けされている。
