The research, led by Prof. Chau Kwok Tong, Chair Professor of Electrical Energy Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at PolyU (right) and Prof. Liu Wei, Assistant Professor of the same department (left), paves the way for wireless energy networks capable of delivering light, heat and motion. Their study has been published in Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering and received Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva in Switzerland and a Grand Prize and a Gold Medal at the 4th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong.
