Figure 3 | Reconstruction of complex three-dimensional fiber shapes using the MOES fiber. The distributed MOES array enables accurate reconstruction of various bending configurations, including simple arcs, S-shaped deformations, and more complex spatial geometries. The results demonstrate the capability of a standard single-mode fiber to perform high-resolution three-dimensional shape sensing using a single interrogation channel.
