Identifying residual inflammatory risk in coronary artery disease with hsCRP (IMAGE)
Caption
High-sensitivity C-reactive protein is widely used to identify residual inflammatory risk in coronary artery disease. Because hsCRP levels are generally lower in East Asian populations, evidence summarized in the review supports an hsCRP threshold of ≥1 mg/L as a potentially more appropriate cutoff for East Asian patients than the ≥2 mg/L threshold commonly used internationally.
