Robot and Oscar: Equally Scary

Experiments at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering were the first to show zebrafish were equally scared by the predator red tail oscar (right) and a biomimetic robot. Zebrafish are increasingly used for experiments exploring behavior, and robots make the experiments more consistent and repeatable.
