Guided by Dr. Jianhai Du, an assistant professor in biochemistry at West Virginia University, chemistry student Rachel McNeel has been conducting research on early metabolic characteristics of the eye and brain caused by Alzheimer’s disease. She will present her findings to members of Congress on April 26-27 as part of Posters on the Hill.
