Inhibitor binding site on the C. albicans ribosome

Inhibitor CHX (purple structure) in the ribosome E-site, with the original structure in blue and the structure with the proline to glutamine mutation in beige. The mutation reduces the size of the binding space, causing a clash of the inhibitor with the ribosome that prevents it from binding.
