Mantas Žurauskas helped develop a novel device for calibrating sensitive microscopy systems using microscopic fluorescent diamonds. He is an imaging research scientist for the GlaxoSmithKline Center for Optical Molecular Imaging at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, and collaborated with industry partner GlaxoSmithKline on this work.
