DMAPO/Boc2O-mediated one-pot direct N-acylation of less nucleophilic N-heterocycles with carboxylic acids

N-acylation of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds is more efficient using DMAPO and Boc2O rather than conventional methods, even with less reactive N-heterocyclic compounds. The reaction requires no special equipment, heat or clean-up and can be performed in a single reaction vessel.
