With the addition of OM, As, Fe, and Mn were significantly released from the sediment. In general, As, Fe, and Mn concentrations increased first and then decreased during the experiment. Samples with As(V) or As(III) below the detection limit of 0.25 μg L−1 were plotted as half of the detection limit (0.125 μg L−1) to make the comparison. The error bar is the standard deviation (n = 4).
