The International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing (IJEM) is proud to announce that it has achieved a new Impact Factor of 21.3, which reflects not only our double growth in both publication volumes and impact factor, but also marks IJEM as the first manufacturing journal ever to surpass an Impact Factor of 20.

The International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing (IJEM) is proud to announce that it has achieved a new Impact Factor of 21.3, while maintaining its position as the No. 1 journal in the Engineering, Manufacturing category for the third consecutive year.

It reflects not only our double growth in both publication volumes and impact factor, but also marks IJEM as the first manufacturing journal ever to surpass an Impact Factor of 20.

So far, IJEM has attracted submissions from 853 institutions in 81 countries and published articles from 532 institutions in 32 countries. Our publications also have been widely cited in 800+ SCI journals, including Nature and Science, and featured by 100+ major international media outlets, reaching 10+ million global readers.

All these achievements are just the beginning towards making IJEM the very best extreme manufacturing platform. By uniting journal, society, conference, technology, and industry, IJEM will continue to use its information resources to better support manufacturing researchers' work and career.
