Press registration now open for one of the world’s largest fluid dynamics meetings

Thousands of scientists from around the world will meet to present new research on the physics of fluids at the 78th annual meeting of the American Physical Society’s Division of Fluid Dynamics. The conference will be held in person only at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston Nov. 23-25.

Press registration

News media with valid APS press credentials may register for the meeting at no cost. To request press credentials, visit APS’ virtual press office. Registration will remain open throughout the meeting.

Scientific program

The scientific program will include thousands of presentations on aerodynamics, turbulence, biofluids, wind energy, climate dynamics, and more. For more information, search the scientific program. All times are in U.S. Central time.

Gallery of Fluid Motion

The annual Gallery of Fluid Motion — a visual arts competition and exhibition that illustrates the science and beauty of fluid motion — will be held at the meeting. Winners will be announced in a ceremony on Nov. 24 at 2:10 p.m. CT. A traveling version of the exhibit will be on display at the Nicole Longnecker Gallery and the Houston Museum of Natural Science in Houston from Oct. 9, 2025 and Oct. 11, 2025, respectively, to Jan. 25, 2026.
