We are excited to announce the call for Editorial Board Members (EBMs) and Young Editorial Board Members (YEBMs) of xAerospace — a new international English-language journal in aeronautics and astronautics.
xAerospace is the sister journal of the Chinese Journal of Aeronautics (CJA). Sponsored by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and edited by the editorial office of CJA, the journal focuses on original innovations and disruptive breakthroughs from 0 to 1 in the aerospace field, publishing landmark reviews, original research and forward-looking perspectives. The first issue is expected to be published in July 2027 and will be open access.
Fields of interest include, but are not limited to, fluid mechanics and propulsion, solid mechanics and aircraft design, electronics and control, materials and mechanics, and closely related disciplines in aeronautics and astronautics.
Editorial Board Members
- Qualifications: top scholars in the aerospace field with global vision and broad academic influence
- Responsibilities: writing articles on frontier hot topics, commissioning and organizing landmark manuscripts, reviewing manuscripts, and actively promoting the journal
- Term of service: 5 years
Young Editorial Board Members
- Qualifications: outstanding young scholars in the aerospace field (under 40 years old), with overseas experience preferred, and committed to the journal’s development
- Responsibilities: inviting, reviewing and submitting manuscripts, and actively promoting the journal
- Term of service: 3 years
