Paris, June 23, 2022 – Pasqal, the global leader in neutral atoms quantum computing, today announced it was named a Grand Trophy and Gold Globee award winner in the 2022 Globee Disruptor Company Awards. The award program recognizes disruptive technologies and innovative solutions that are transforming consumer experiences everywhere.

Pasqal was honored in the information technology hardware category for its innovative technology, strong customer base and partnerships and its full-stack processors’ capability to operate at room temperature with lower energy, allowing the company to address complex problems more efficiently than classical computers.

“The new era of disruptive innovations is here. Disruptive products, services, technologies and solutions are transforming consumer experiences everywhere while consumer and end-user needs are continuously evolving,” said San Madan, co-President of Globee Awards. “Legacy systems are not always fast enough to accept and respond to such needs.”

Judges from around the world representing a wide spectrum of industry experts participated in the judging process to select this year’s disruptor companies, which have the potential and competence to displace existing solutions, companies and even entire industries.

“Winning Gold in the Disruptor Company Awards validates our efforts to solve real-world challenges through quantum technology,” said Georges-Olivier Reymond, CEO and co-founder of Pasqal. “While experts predict quantum technology will not be useful for five to 10 years, we have demonstrated value for quantum computers today through our neutral atoms quantum processors. We are honored that our efforts are being recognized by the Globee Awards and by our industry-leading clients and partners.”

Pasqal is the leading manufacturer of neutral-atoms quantum computers, which uses individual atoms trapped by laser beams to create quantum bits and to perform computations on them. This approach offers superior scalability and performance, which will allow Pasqal to be amongst the first to showcase industry relevant quantum advantage.

Pasqal is a full stack company offering quantum-powered solutions to sectors like energy, mobility, healthcare, high tech and finance, and its customers include Johnson & Johnson, LG, Airbus, BMW Group, EDF, Thales, MBDA and Credit Agricole CIB.
