Composition analysis of the mucosal virome.

For each condition (polyp and control (adjacent normal mucosa)), TPM values for each taxon were summed across all samples and represented as percentages of the total TPM for all taxa. Relative abundances of different viral taxa across samples were assessed at the (a) class, (b) family, (c) genus and (d) species levels. TPM, transcripts per million.
