Regulatory mechanisms of LRRC8A: LRRC8A activates its own transcription by binding to NOX1 and activating the NF-κB signaling pathway. NSUN2 modifies LRRC8A mRNA with m5C, enhancing its stability and thus increasing LRRC8A expression. MSK1 phosphorylates and activates LRRC8A, aiding cell volume recovery and survival under hypertonic conditions. Signaling pathways involving LRRC8A: LRRC8A activates the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway, insulin signaling pathway, MAPK signaling pathway, and JAK-STAT signaling pathway through its LRR domain by interacting with GRB2.
