Forging a new pathway: Introducing ENT Discovery
Higher Education Press
The dynamic and rapidly evolving fields of otolaryngology and head & neck surgery have long required a specialized, agile publication venue that can keep pace with groundbreaking discoveries, particularly those at the intersection of clinical practice, translational medicine, and basic science. The expansion of research into areas such as gene therapy, advanced neurotology, and precision oncology necessitates a focused forum for dialogue and discovery.
The mission of ENT Discovery is to become a premier, peer-reviewed open-access journal committed to publishing cutting-edge original research, authoritative reviews, and insightful commentaries that address the full spectrum of the specialty—from hearing restoration and vestibular science to airway reconstruction and head & neck oncology. A core emphasis is placed on fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and accelerating the translation of laboratory findings into clinical applications that directly improve patient care.
As a new entrant to the academic publishing landscape, ENT Discovery faces the inherent challenges of establishing its reputation, attracting high-quality submissions, and building a recognized impact within a crowded field. It aims to ensure the success of this initiative by maintaining the consistent quality and relevance of its published content, engaging the international ENT community, and facilitating meaningful scientific exchange.
