This prospective single-arm pilot study investigated the clinical effectiveness, patient-reported outcomes, and tolerability of combined microneedling and PRX PLUS treatment in 15 women with signs of photoaging. Participants received three full-face treatment sessions at 21-day intervals, with skin changes assessed before treatment and 15 days after the final session using VISIA®, Visioscope, and the validated FLO-11 questionnaire. The combined protocol was associated with improvements across multiple skin-quality domains, including reductions in texture irregularities, UV spots, pigmented spots, redness, pore visibility, sebum levels, and wrinkle severity. Patients also reported improved skin smoothness, a less stressed appearance, and greater satisfaction with facial aesthetics. The treatment showed favorable tolerability with only mild-to-moderate discomfort and no clinically relevant adverse events. However, larger randomized controlled studies are required to confirm these preliminary findings.
