CHICAGO, August 27, 2026. NEW HORIZON PRESS LIMITED participated as an exhibitor at ACS Fall 2026, held from August 23 to 27 in Chicago, connecting with researchers, scholars, and students from around the world and introducing its academic journals and publishing initiatives to the international scientific community.

The Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) 2026 will be held in hybrid format at the Amare arts venue in The Hague, Netherlands, and online, from 6–11 September 2026. EPSC2026 covers the full spectrum of planetary research and technology across over 125 scientific sessions, keynotes, debates and community events. Around 1200 planetary scientists from over 40 countries in Europe and around the world are expected to attend the conference.

Scientists, clinicians, federal researchers and pharmaceutical leaders are gathering at Virginia Tech to consider whether psychiatry can move beyond trial-and-error treatment. The inaugural Precision Psychiatry Symposium will examine new schizophrenia medications, emerging biomarkers, artificial intelligence and advances in neuroscience that could help match patients with effective treatments sooner, while highlighting a research and clinical partnership in Roanoke, Virginia, in September.

Researchers, students, and industry professionals working in microelectronics, microsystems, sensors, and related technologies will gather in Montréal on September 29, 2026, for the MDPI Subject Workshop: “Microelectronics, Microsystems, Sensors, and Their Applications.” The one-day workshop will take place at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montréal, organized by MDPI Canada in collaboration with the Regroupement Stratégique en Microsystèmes du Québec (ReSMiQ). The event will provide a forum to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging technologies, and explore new opportunities for collaboration across rapidly developing areas of engineering and applied science.

LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center will host its 2026 Childhood Obesity Conference, “Be the Reason Kids Greaux Healthy,” on Sept. 24 at the C.B. Pennington, Jr. Conference Center. The conference, presented by the Greaux Healthy initiative, will bring together health care professionals, researchers, educators and community leaders to explore strategies for preventing and treating childhood obesity.

ARDD 2026 has announced that senior officials from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will join the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) for a dedicated government and regulatory panel at the 13th Aging Research & Drug Discovery (ARDD) Meeting, taking place October 1–3, 2026, at the David Rubenstein Treehouse at Harvard University.

The session, “Matching Clinical Trials of Therapeutics & Regulatory Mandates,” will bring together Jeffrey Siegel, Director, Office of Drug Evaluation Sciences, Office of New Drugs, CDER, FDA; Justin Penzenstadler, Associate Director, OCHEN/OND/CDER/FDA; and Lowell M. Zeta, Acting Chief of Staff, Office of the Commissioner, FDA. Andrew Brack, Program Manager, Proactive Health, ARPA-H, will moderate the discussion.

As more discoveries in aging biology advance toward clinical translation, the session will provide an important forum for dialogue between government and regulatory leaders and the researchers, clinicians, and biotechnology innovators developing potential therapies to extend healthy lifespan and improve patient outcomes.
