Cambridge, MA, Mar 3, 2025 --- Insilico Medicine ("Insilico"), a clinical stage generative artificial intelligence (AI)-driven biotechnology company, and Tenacia Biotechnology (“Tenacia”), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing innovative treatments for nervous system disorders, today announced a strategic research collaboration. Focused on certain potential targets, Insilico and Tenacia will collaborate during the early discovery stage of novel Central Nervous System (CNS) disease therapies, developing small molecule inhibitors from scratch to preclinical candidate nomination.  

An experience of gestational diabetes greatly increases likelihood of future diabetes, but most people do not complete the recommended glucose tolerance screening after having the baby. This research shows that a 1-hour glucose tolerance test outperforms the 2-hour gold standard. It is also more practical with the potential to transform postnatal diabetes screening given new parents'' busy schedules at this critical intervention point.

New research from Denmark reveals that a mother’s diet during pregnancy—characterised by a Western dietary pattern high in fat and sugar and low in fresh ingredients—may increase the risk of neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism in children. Researchers see potential for targeted dietary interventions during pregnancy to reduce this risk.
