This global study investigates the dynamic impact of Financial Technology (FinTech) on financial stability, introducing the novel dimension of green finance as a key moderating factor. Analysing panel data from 148 advanced and emerging economies (2005-2022) with advanced econometric models, the research finds that both FinTech and the overall composite of green finance significantly enhance financial stability. The study further deconstructs green finance into its core dimensions, revealing that while environmental, resource, and financial dimensions are positive drivers, the economic dimension presents a short-term challenge. Crucially, the synergy between FinTech and most green finance dimensions acts as a powerful positive force for stability. However, the COVID-19 pandemic exerted a consistent negative spillover effect. The findings provide actionable insights for policymakers to design integrated FinTech and green finance frameworks, fostering resilient financial systems and a sustainable economic future.

This study examines the impact of corporate digital mergers and acquisitions (M&As) on the development of New Quality Productive Forces (NQPF). Using a multi-period difference-in-differences (DID) methodology with data from Chinese listed firms (2011-2021), we demonstrate that digital M&As significantly enhance NQPF. We identify two key mechanisms driving this effect: enhanced firm innovation capability and accelerated data asset accumulation. Furthermore, our findings reveal that external factors including advanced industrial structure, higher urban human capital, and lower economic policy uncertainty positively moderate this relationship. This research introduces a novel NQPF measurement index and provides actionable insights for firms and policymakers seeking to leverage digital transformation for high-quality economic development.

A groundbreaking study from New Zealand demonstrates that central bank "forward guidance" significantly strengthens the transmission of monetary policy. Analyzing New Zealand's banking data, the research finds that providing clear communication about the future path of interest rates enhances the pass-through from the official policy rate to bank deposit and lending rates. The results show improved long-term pass-through, especially for time deposits and fixed mortgages, alongside a slight acceleration in short-term adjustments. These findings offer critical evidence for central banks worldwide on the power of communication as a policy tool.

With the advancement of Internet applications, the global demand for broadband satellite communication services is incessantly escalating. Furthermore, there exists an exponential surge in the requisition for the capacity of satellite communication systems. In response to this evolving demand, the domain of satellite communication technology is progressively evolving toward the realm of high-throughput satellite (HTS) communication systems. The typical technical characteristics of HTS are: (a) the satellite adopts multibeam technology for beam overlapping coverage of the service area, which improves the quality of the wireless link while realizing the spatial dimension segmentation; (b) based on this, the system adopts multiple frequency multiplexing to improve the communication capacity of a single satellite; (c) gateway stations are tightly coupled with user beam clusters to complete two-hop communication, which makes multiple gateway stations share the communication resources of the same satellite, forming a spatial isolation of the gateway stations, and once again realizing the frequency multiplexing of the gateway station links. A key requirement for future multibeam broadband satellite communication systems is the ability to flexibly adjust beam capacity according to changes in business distribution, in order to meet time-varying business requirements. Beam hopping technology provides an efficient solution to achieve the efficient use of frequency resources and power resources. At the same time, the use of beam hopping makes the beam hopping of satellite payload need to match the business signals of ground signal stations, bringing about the need for synchronization of beam hopping between satellite and ground.
