This population-based European cohort study led by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), a centre supported by the ”la Caixa” Foundation, suggests that higher exposure to air pollution during childhood at home and at school may increase the risk of metabolic syndrome. The study was published in Environmental Research.
